Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information delhimetro.net ("we", "us") handles when you use this website. delhimetro.net is an independent Delhi Metro route finder. It is not affiliated with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) or Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC).

The short version

• You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
• We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools.
• We do not sell or share your information for marketing.

Information we handle

Route and station searches. When you choose stations or open a route page, your browser sends the station codes, language and route type to our API at api.delhimetro.net, which returns the route, fare and station details. These requests do not include anything that identifies you by name.

Server logs. Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site and our API may automatically record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page or data requested, and the time. We use these only to run, secure and troubleshoot the service, and keep them only as long as needed for that.

Settings stored on your device. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Sharing a route. The share and copy-link buttons use your device's own share menu or clipboard. We do not receive what you share or who you share it with.

Services we rely on

• Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Our API host runs the server behind api.delhimetro.net and processes the requests described above.
• Google Fonts supplies the fonts this site uses. When the fonts load, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser details. See Google's privacy policy.

To answer a route or station request we have not stored yet, our server may request the information from DMRC's public website. Only station codes, language and route type are sent; nothing about you is included.

Children

This site is a general travel tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to ask about, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not keep accounts or profiles, we generally hold no such data beyond short-lived server logs. To make a request, contact us at the address below.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
